Created by Jason Whitham, then implemented and animated by Stone (Travis Steven) into this game, Crazy Jay is a playable character in the game Combat Tournament Legends. He was added in version 2.2b, along with Mr. Red. He is most known for being the creator of Stickpage itself, and for appearing as a character/cameo in other games, one of them being this one.
Appearance[]
He a black stickman with white eyes, a dark cyan-blue bandana on his forehead and a very dark gray mask on his face.
Powers/Abilities[]
Weapons:[]
He uses his katana to deal lots of damage to his opponents, and is also used in combos. He also uses his shurikens to stun enemies in place to then attack with something else. He can fire a fireball from his hands to attack his opponents from a distance.
Self-Cloning:[]
He can summon temporary clones of himself to assist him during battle that can hit his opponents to disorientate them.
Energy Manipulation:[]
He uses energy to enlarge his katana, to then stab his opponents, and send them flying into the air, leaving them vulnerable, then can slam the enlarged katana onto the ground, causing devastating damage.
Similar Characters[]
- There isn't a Crazy Jay opponent that appears in the Story Mode, but a Crazy Jay CPU can be seen in the VS. Mode by starting a match against a Crazy Jay CPU. They look exactly the same as Crazy Jay.
Bots[]
There is only one type of bot for Crazy Jay, who is a Follow Bot.
Follow Bot[]
This bot can actually do special attacks, but can only do one normal attack and also stays in a few spots in the map, though when they notice the player, they will follow them.
Moves (Links: Animations)[]
- Attack 1: First leaning back, with his katana, slashes in front of him, moving him forward slightly; The only move used by the Follow Bot.
- Attack 2: Follow up to Attack 1; Moving forward continuously, with his katana, stabs forward six times, then leans back and then forward to perform a swift slash for the last hit; 7 hitboxes. (Frame Name: StabStabStab)
- Attack 3: An automatic attack followed up by Attack 10; Pulls out his katana, and then reaches upward with it while spinning around, hitting opponents upwards with him, then switches to forward flipping, eventually slowing down and coming to a stop; 35 hits. (This attack is split into two parts: Crapppp and SpinSpingSlash (The first part is the function to execute the move, and the second part is played after the last animation frame of the first part.).)
- Attack 4: Down attack; Fires a fireball forward from his hands; Can be followed up by Attack 6. (Frame Name: Attack18)
- Attack 5: Performs an extensive flurry of quick kicks, then dashes and reaches forward with his katana; 19 hits. (Frame Name: Attack13)
- Attack 6: Facing backwards, performs a strong stab forward with his katana. (Frame Name: Attack7)
- Attack 7: Can be used during Attack 6; A Crazy Jay clone appears and slashes forward with their katana. (Frame Name: Attack15)
- Attack 8: Can be used during Attack 6: A clone version of Attack 4. (Frame Name: Attack18)
- Attack 9: Follow up to Attack 6: Uses animation frames from Attack 7, but is used three times, being done one after the other and spaced apart forwardly; 3 hitboxes. (Frame Name Attack15)
- Attack 10: Performs an upward curving slash with his katana and jumps. (Frame Name: Attack14)
- Attack 11: Follow up to Attack 4 and Attack 9; Gets out his shurikens, and throws six shurikens forward; 6 hitboxes. (Frame Name: ninjastyle)

- Attack 13: Aerial attack; Slashes down and up two times; 4 hitboxes; 3rd hitbox launches opponents downwards. (Frame Name: Attack12)
Combat Tournament Rewind[]
Crazy Jay was implemented into the first released version of the Combat Tournament Rewind Demo. The A.I. for Crazy Jay CPUs appear to make them have zoner-like tactics. The attacks that properly make a return to this game from the previous game are Attack 1, Attack 2, Attack 3 (this attack is separated into two attacks), Attack 4, Attack 5, Attack 6, Attack 9, Attack 10, Attack 11 and Attack 12.
Trivia[]
- Crazy Jay is unlocked from the start of the game, but only playable on the game's version on Stickpage.
- His movement speed is the 3rd fastest in the game, tied with Yoyo.
- Most of his combos involve holding down the attack button.
- Crazy Jay has the lowest number of attacks in the game. The intended purpose of Crazy Jay's playstyle is being a zoner, hence the lack of attacks.
- Most of his attacks do lots of damage, but some of these attacks can also count as someone else's kill, similar to Andre's special attack.
- His clone attacks are one of the first things loaded when booting up the game, as they are one of the first things seen in the files of the game when decompiled.
- If you haven't hit anybody yet, and you execute Attack 7, the clone will appear at or near the center of the map.
- Attack 7 can only be executed when facing right.
- The clone attacks are not assigned to Crazy Jay, and are their own entities, meaning if a clone kills someone, no one will get a kill.
- In Elimination +2 and only Elimination +2, you can actually get hit by Attack 8's fireball.
- Playing as Crazy Jay in 2v2 will cause DirtyToilet to not be your teammate and he will also attack you as well.
- Crazy Jay cannot spawn in the Legend Arena in VS. Mode.
He has one unused attack. It shows Crazy Jay presumably firing something downwards with his hands. It's unknown what attack could've been used for this attack, as his attacks mainly utilize his weapons. It could have been a second fireball attack that could be done in the air, and the fireball would travel towards the ground. Hitboxes are not present with this attack.
